Koppy's Propane, Inc. is a family owned and operated propane supplier that has been serving its propane customers since 1944.
Our mission is to meet our customer’s needs by giving them the personal attention and exceptional service they deserve, while providing them with clean, efficient fuel at affordable prices.

Koppy's Propane, Inc. not only offers appliances and propane delivery service for our residential and commercial customers, but also offers wholesale propane transport and operates a tank consignment yard.

Our History
Koppy's Propane, Inc. was founded in 1944 by the late Harry C. Romberger. Harry owned a general store in Klingerstown, Pennsylvania, and began to deliver propane cylinders to his valued customers throughout the region.
In the mid 1950’s Harry passed his business on to his daughter Helen and her husband, Carlos Koppenhaver. The propane business continued to grow under the management of Helen and Carlos, and in 1965 they expanded their business to the Williams Valley by adding a store in Tower City, Pennsylvania. In 1972, their son David joined the family business, and under his leadership, the company began to grow rapidly. In 1984, Koppy's Propane, Inc. added their first propane transport to their fleet of trucks, which would allow a more reliable supply of propane for their growing customer base. Shortly thereafter, in 1989, Koppy’s Propane, Inc. moved to its current headquarters on Route 209 in Williamstown, Pennsylvania.
Over the past twenty years, Koppy’s Propane, Inc. has experienced tremendous growth with several acquisitions and the addition of three storage facilities. Today, propane can be used to fuel almost every major home appliance efficiently and economically, and Koppy’s Propane, Inc. has successfully established an honest, trustworthy reputation as one of the largest independent, family owned propane suppliers in the state of Pennsylvania.
